Hi, I'm Jen!

I'm so thankful that you stumbled upon my website. I keep this space mostly updated, but you'll find more day-to-day updates on my Instagram (@jenwoodrumauthor). 

My love for writing goes back to childhood. It especially began to flourish in fifth grade, when I had an assignment to write a short halloween story on a small paper pumpkin. In the style of every over-writer, I took up 13 pages and then started a 26-book series idea about kids solving mysteries in their haunted town.

Stories captivate me. I love when I experience a big emotion from a show or book and immediately want to create those same feelings with my own words. My writing has continued to grow over the years since my first draft of When Death Is Coming, and I have so many worlds and stories to share! Stay tuned!
